Shoshone County Fire District 2

The new Shoshone County Fire District 2 fire station built to replace the old Kellogg City Hall facility is a state-of-the-art structure that meets all necessary building codes, including ADA requirements. The new station boasts four apparatus bays, providing ample space for all fire vehicles without storing any outside. The facility also features sleeping quarters for seven personnel, living facilities for fire and emergency operations staff, a kitchen, a decontamination room with an extractor, and a workout/fitness room. Additionally, the community room allows for training, meetings, and public education. The new fire station is a significant upgrade from the old facility, providing the necessary space and amenities for modern firefighting and emergency response operations.
