The Hayden Lake Rancher project was a resounding success, despite the setbacks and complications faced during the remodel. By taking advantage of the existing elements and grandfathered in structure, we were able to create a stunning new master suite with a view of the lake, complete with his and hers bathrooms and a walk-in closet. The living room and dining room were separated by a two-sided fireplace and large windows were added to take full advantage of the breathtaking views of Hayden Lake. 

The upper level of the home now boasts an office and home theatre room, making the space perfect for both work and relaxation. We split the garage in order to create a dramatic entrance pathway to the main entry, and visitors now traverse down a series of steps to walk on a covered walkway and bridge, spanning a waterfall and stream, to reach the main entrance. 

Despite the long, narrow configuration of the site, we were able to achieve a truly remarkable result that exceeded our expectations. The foundations, flooring framing, and grandfathered walls were all maintained and protected for reuse, resulting in a sustainable and environmentally conscious design.
