We successfully transformed The Coeur d’Alene Press’ dated and compact downtown production facility into modern office spaces for their newspaper staff. With 10,000 square feet to work with, LTA converted the space into offices for the business department, editorial, advertising, and circulation staff. We added a 3,000 sf glass entrance and lobby and converted much of the former printing area into offices, meeting rooms, breakroom, and storage rooms. Bi-level ceilings were used in the offices and meeting rooms to define work zones while improving circulation. All new energy-efficient HVAC equipment and plumbing fixtures were installed to accommodate the increased amount of people working in the building. The Coeur d’Alene Press now has contemporary office spaces at their state-of-the-art facility.
