Borah Elementary School Renovation

Borah Elementary School is located in the heart of Coeur d’Alene on an eight-acre site. The original 1952 building had been added onto several times and was in great need of modernization and space. The  modernization project was successfully achieved by updating the building and providing additional program space for its students. With new classroom finishes, restrooms, and corridors, along with a secure entrance and gymnasium, the school is now equipped to better serve its community.

Incorporating energy efficiency measures into the building was a smart decision, including the installation of high-efficiency windows, LED lighting, and DDC controls for the mechanical system. These features will not only benefit the environment but also save the school money in the long run. Overall, the Borah Elementary School modernization project has been a significant success, providing a safer, more comfortable, and efficient learning environment for its students and staff.
