The Bonners Ferry Visitor Center’s design reflects the area’s rich mining and timber heritage, using heavy timber, log columns, cedar lap siding, and a building shape reminiscent of historic mining and logging buildings. 

The Visitor Center offers essential amenities, including restrooms for travelers, an information center about the area, and a second-floor viewing/meeting room. The second-floor viewing/meeting room provides breathtaking panoramic views of the Kootenai River and mountains to the East. Additionally, display walls throughout the center provide historical information about Bonners Ferry and the Kootenai River Valley.
